Quest Analytics Suite™
Quality Module

The Quality Factor

Without a doubt, quality of care is one of the most important issues facing the healthcare system today. Quest Analytics has teamed up with our strategic partner HealthGrades, the leading online resource for comprehensive information about physicians and hospitals, to incorporate their ratings data directly into the Quest Analytics Suite™.

HealthGrades HealthGrades’ quality ratings information includes data, such as mortality and complication rates, updated annually from using the CMS MedPAR database along with All-Payer data from select states that make de-identified patient claims data available to the public domain. We also incorporate the CMS Process Measures to indicate how well facilities adhere to industry accepted best practices along with thirteen Patient Safety Measures from AHRQ.

The Quality Analysis Module provides a rich set of reports that can be used to support decision making at a variety of levels, such as:

  • Quality Analysis Module
  • Respond to RFPs from Employers or Consultants
  • Factor Quality into the Provider Contracting Process
  • Identify Quality Gaps in Your Network
  • Design High-Performance or Tiered Networks
  • Use Claims Data to Change Member Behavior
  • Compare Networks on an Apples-to-Apples Basis

By leveraging the Quality Analysis Module in conjunction with the Access Analysis Module, you can even measure the impact of adding or removing a facility on the overall access provided by a network as well as evolve your Access Analysis by analyzing access to high quality providers.

Client Profile
